OH&S Audits are conducted when a business wants to evaluate and have tested its OHSMS.
An auditor will use the specific Australian Standard AS 4801:2001 and evaluate every element of the system against the system. This will lead to a report where any non-conformances with the Standard will be highlighted and the employer will have to take corrective action before getting an audit sign off.
